Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group's Gold Promotion Reaches Out To Winners' Families
Dubai, August 8, 2004: Zainul Abdeen, an Indian visitor to the emirate has won one kilo of solid gold, which he calls the ultimate City Of Gold souvenir. The Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group (DGJG) announced Abdeen as the sixth winner of its Gold Promotion this summer.
"I feel very lucky to have won a kilo of gold, particularly as this metal has embodied the spirit of Dubai for as long as I can remember. As I was visiting the City Of Gold, I wanted to buy a small gold ornament for my wife as a special gift. And now, she will be thrilled to receive not one but two presents from me," said an absolutely delighted Abdeen.
"This is the first time I've won anything and I'm very happy that trade organisations like DGJG run such different promotions that anyone can win - it not only benefits the winners but also reaches out to their families."
Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group's gold promotion enables lucky shoppers to win 10 kilos of gold through 10 weekly draws. Shoppers can also Scratch & Win thousands of gold coins and 'Win Back Half your purchase'. Alternatively, customers can fax their purchase invoice to three radio channels - 89.1, 107.8 as well as Radio Asia and win back up to AED 1250.
