The Senior Researcher of Huawei Security Solution Planning & Architecture Design Department delivered a speech entitled Intrusion Tolerance on this RSA conference. He explored intrusion tolerance as a strategy for revising security assumptions in designing security solutions. Intrusion tolerance includes four technological points: Distributed Consensuses; Proactive Recovery which means self-cleansing intrusion tolerance; Threshold Cryptography, which means to keep the secret secure until a certain number of components have been compromised; amd Diversity Design, which means to avoid common mode failures.
