EGYPT 16th May 2011: Andrew Long has been appointed CEO of HSBC Bank Egypt SAE, the bank announced today.
A highly experienced senior banker, Andrew was most recently Global Head of HSBC's Global Transaction Banking, a position he has held for the last four years.

HSBC Egypt reported a profit before tax of US$195 million in 2010, and has been named as one of HSBC Group's focus countries for investment and growth in the MENA region.
Appointed an HSBC Group General Manager in 2008, Andrew has been with the HSBC Group for more than thirty years. He brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held a number of senior positions across the Group, including serving as Chief Operating Officer, HSBC Asia Pacific, Head of Operations and Processing, Asia Pacific, and Regional Head of Payments and Cash Management in Asia and Trade Services in Europe.
