HSBC Bank Egypt inaugurated its Mall of Arabia branch located in the heart of 6th of October City, in the presence of Francesca McDonagh, Regional Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management, HSBC MENA. The Mall of Arabia Branch is HSBC's second new branch in the vicinity of 6th of October and the fourth branch to open in 2013 following the inauguration of El Rehab, El Tagamoo and Sun City branches earlier this year.
The Mall of Arabia team celebrated the inauguration of their new branch with HSBC Bank Egypt's customers and employees, and the Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management of HSBC Bank Egypt, Ranjan Sen.

In 2013, HSBC Bank Egypt invested in its branch network through renovating old branches and opening new branches across Egypt, and it was the first bank in Egypt to introduce HSBC Secure Key. In addition, the bank is undergoing a programme to replace more than 75% of its ATMs introducing the latest technology in HSBC Group and has recently upgraded its Call Center to offer its customer an easy, safer and convenient banking experience.
