The new LFP features a 12-ink printing system targeting the creative market

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 21 October 2008: HP Middle East unveiled the first time its latest Large Format Printer during Gitex Technology Week 2008. The DesignJet Z3200 printer series is specifically designed for the creative market, including professionals in photography, graphic design, proofing and fine arts, to produce beautiful, gallery-quality photographs and fine art prints, eye-catching advertisements and magazine layouts, and accurate color contract proofs.

This versatile printer series is a 12-ink printing system ideal for professional photographers, photo and fine art print service providers, graphic designers, ad agencies and commercial printers that consistently delivers high-quality, large-format prints and proofs print to print, every time. The HP DesignJet Z3200 is based on HP DreamColor Technologies and uses HP Vivera pigment inks to produce gallery-quality prints that achieve over 200 years print permanence on a range of HP creative and specialty printing materials.

Commenting on the new photo printer, Amr Hassan, General Manager for Imaging and Printing Group at HP Middle East said: "We continue to invest in R&D to invent unmatched technologies that satisfy our customers' needs to the slightest detail. The new DesignJet Z3200 features a powerful 12-ink printing system with 4 different layers of blacks producing breathtaking levels of colors."

New to the Z series family, the HP DesignJet Z3200 includes the new HP 73 Chromatic Red Ink, enabling up to 95 percent PANTONE® coverage. Users can produce gallery-quality black-and-white and color prints for a wide range of creative applications. In addition, the printing system produces beautiful black-and-white prints with smooth transitions and true neutral grays using the HP Quad-Black Ink set. HP Gloss Enhancer achieves superior gloss uniformity and minimizes bronzing on most glossy photo papers.

The HP Designjet Z3200 is available in two sizes, 24" and 44" and supports more than 50 Original HP large-format printing materials designed together with HP Vivera pigment inks, from photographic and digital fine art papers to coated and display-graphic printing materials - including the new HP Baryte Satin Art Paper, HP Everyday Pigment Ink Photo Papers, HP Premium Matte Photo Paper and HP Premium Semi-gloss Proofing Paper (FOGRA certified).
