Attending big events requires meticulous preparation and formal wear but purchasing bespoke gowns outright might be a step too much for some hence why Emirati entrepreneur Maha Al Shamsi has launched the Dubai based concept House of MC – a unique Maison and luxury lifestyle brick-and-mortar and e-commerce concept that offers everything one might need to prepare for a spectacular evening hitting the red carpet.
The Maison, situated in the vibrantly stylish Dubai Design District, offers limited edition and customised designer gowns for rental where clients can choose from delicate creations by Michael Cinco, Dior, Charbel Zoe, Walter Mendez among others with the latter being exclusive to House of MC for the GCC market. High-end jewellery and a curated selection of fine accessories are also on offer, adding carefully chosen evocative statements to a selected ensemble.
House of MC isn’t just a rental concept… it’s a destination that takes care of every last detail when it comes to attending a special occasion.
In-house hair and makeup experts as well as image consultants create the perfect look for the evening while the clients will arrive in style using the House of MC top-of-the-line fleet of luxury Bentley vehicles to ensure guests make a memorable entry.
“Attending an event – be it a gala, an awards night or a social occasion, can require long hours of preparation. People want memorable outfits, but don’t necessarily wear them enough to purchase them. House of MC is the answer. We create an exceptional concierge experience where guests can rely on us to provide everything they need to get ready for their evening. From hair, makeup, designer couture and high jewellery to a luxury car service to the red carpet, our guests will find all they need at House of MC. It’s glamorous and exclusive, but also sustainable in an ethical and economic sense,” says House of MC founder Maha Al Shamsi.
“The first thing you understand as an entrepreneur is to identify people’s needs and market requirements. Dubai has one of the world’s most vibrant event sectors; one that plays a crucial role in economic growth. We wanted to make it easier and worthwhile for people to be at their most glamorous for important occasions – while introducing a bespoke experience they’ll cherish,” she adds.
House of MC also curats a bespoke personal shopping experience. The maison has partnered with some of the UAE’s biggest luxury retailers and department stores to create a personalised shopping journey that caters to the clients’ needs.
As a destination for discerning clients, House of MC believes in personalisation opting for a variety of modes of operation – including a la carte services, one-off package and even annual subscription model with exclusive benefits and services.
House of MC is the brainchild of Emirati fashion entrepreneur, race car enthusiast and philanthropist, Maha Al Shamsi. It combines her passions for fashion, glamour, business and the automotive world into a concierge concept that makes big occasions a breeze to prepare for.
House of MC operates by appointment at Dubai Design District, Building 3, Suite 601 and with online rental services at houseofmc.ae
