Leading shipping and logistics service provider GAC Bahrain has been chosen by Jazeera Airways as its Cargo Outsourced Agent effective from May 1, 2010.
The exclusive agreement which marks the beginning of Jazeera Airways' cargo operations in Bahrain, was signed by GAC Board of Director Mohammed Adel Fakhro, and Boodai Aviation Vice President and General Manager Monzer Najia being Jazeera Airways Cargo Outsourced Sole Agent Worldwide.
Sole sales and operations arm
GAC Bahrain will be in charge of managing the dedicated sales and operations staff for the cargo division.

The fast growing airline flies to 21 destinations, predominately in the Middle East. Jazeera Airways currently operates a fleet of 11 A320 aircrafts. It operates 14 flights a week from Bahrain.

Dedicated operations with value-added options
As part of its commitment to the new partnership, GAC is investing more resources in sales and operations staff who will be housed in a dedicated office in GAC's modern multi-modal facility located at the Global Logistics Services (GLS) compound in Muharraq ideally situated near the airport.
