As the earliest Premium Numbers that provide value added telephone services to customers, recently approved by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC), Fastlink launched the first 0900 service in cooperation with RingJordan Company. Fastlink dedicated this service to a fundraising Ramadan Campaign entitled "Towards Life", which it is sponsoring for the Al Hussein Cancer Center.

The 0900 numbers are considered part of the new National Numbering Plan, which will replace the previous value added code numbers (14xx) and (15xx). These numbers are used to provide special services for subscribers with prices that differ from the normal tariffs.

Mr. Bashar Arafeh, marketing, international roaming, and data services director at Fastlink, said: "Once again, Fastlink seeks to provide unequaled services to its subscribers based on the latest global technologies in mobile telecommunications. We are delighted that this accomplishment emerged with a charitable campaign during the month of Ramadan, a month of philanthropy and blessings. We are also pleased that this is jointly implemented with RingJordan Company, giving each citizen the opportunity to donate to the Al Hussein Cancer Center."

Mr. Amjad Al Thahabi, manager of RingJordan Company, said: "Technology brings out everything that is new, hence our main concern is to utilize these technologies to serve citizens. The suite of Premium Rate Numbers (0900 numbers) enable us to offer a variety of terrific services to citizens, allowing them to access what they wish. We are also proud to launch such a program with the largest mobile telecommunications company in Jordan that has the largest number of subscribers: Fastlink."
