Full range of IPTV products will be on show, including encoders, decoders, the new prodaptor chassis and the trusted idaptor and tridaptor platforms all compatible with HD, SD and H.624
Dubai, Exterity, a specialist in network IPTV, will be exhibiting at Gitex Technology Week in Dubai, launching its encoder to the Middle Eastern market. Visitors will be able to have a first hand look at Exterity's new HD encoder and see how using Exterity's products will not only enable them to incorporate existing equipment into an IPTV system, but also future-proof their investment as the system can easily accommodate technological advancements such as HD. All products are ideally suited to the broadcast, corporate, education and hospitality sectors.
Already shipping in the UK and Europe, Gitex marks the official launch of the HD encoder to the Middle Eastern market. The HD encoder transcends expectations of high definition broadcasting across building networks in almost every sector, representing an invaluable part of any building IPTV or digital signage system.
Also on display will be Exterity's new prodaptor chassis, which was created in response to the rapid growth in IPTV take-up, with greater use of video as a critical information resource, coupled with customer demand for more capability in less IT rack space. Combined with complementary modules (including the HD encoder), the prodaptor provides users with a highly scalable IPTV system with built in redundancy and hot swap capabilities, giving superior levels of reliability compared with other products in the marketplace.
"The Gitex Technology Week gives us a unique opportunity to present our new products to the Middle Eastern market. This region has a ripening market for IPTV solutions, with astronomical investments being made in new developments, luxury hotels and offices. IPTV can help establishments be one step ahead of the technology curve, bringing its clients the latest the audiovisual industry has to offer," comments Colin Farquhar, CEO of Exterity. "Visitors to Gitex are invited to come to our stand and see exactly what is involved."
