Leading Software Company to Open Six Offices in 18 Months
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Exact Software Middle East, a leading manufacturer of enterprise resource planning software solutions, today announced an aggressive plan to expand its regional presence by opening six new offices in the Middle East in 2004 and 2005.
In the plan announced today, Exact will build a network of offices in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, the Levant, and Egypt, to complement its regional headquarters in Dubai Internet City, United Arab Emirates. The office openings are part of an 18-month plan to make the Middle East one of the four key pillars of Exact’s global business.
“Dubai has established itself as the Middle East’s regional IT hub and was clearly the best place to establish our regional headquarters,” said Nizar Badwan, general manager, Exact Software Middle East. “However, we sell our software solutions to organizations directly, and so need to go out into the market to demonstrate our commitment to multinational customers with the highest level of local service, as well as winning new business throughout the region.”
“Our Pan-Arab network of in-country offices will enable us to provide deeper levels of support than any of our competitors, and contribute to our ongoing growth in the Middle East,” added Badwan.
Exact’s new Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar offices will open in the summer and autumn of 2004. Offices in Oman, the Levant and Egypt will follow during 2005. The new regional network is designed to mirror multinational clients’ needs, and to support Exact’s continued capture of market share in the region.
The company’s office expansion strategy reflects its wider approach to the enterprise technology market. Exact is one of the pioneers of the “parenting approach,” through which Exact becomes the preferred supplier for the small- to medium-sized subsidiaries and affiliates of large enterprises, and by extension comes to work with the world’s leading enterprises.
Critical factors to achieve this global strategy include the establishment of a uniform network of offices across the globe, of which the Middle East offices will form a key pillar, in addition to a single solution strategy and a real-time global infrastructure to share customer and prospect information.
Exact’s revolutionary One-X concept allows organizations to manage their entire business enterprise systems from a single, shared integrated database, allowing easy, efficient and instantaneous sharing of information between headquarter and regional offices.
Increasingly, subsidiary offices within the region are looking to adopt the same database and software solutions as their global parent companies. Senior executives at Exact have expressed confidence that this approach, supported by the network of offices, will prove highly effective in the region.
“Today nearly every globally recognized company has a presence in the Middle East,” said Badwan. “Companies that are implementing an ERP solution for the first time feel far more confident when they know they can rely on local support from people who understand their industries.
“We handle the whole process, including meetings, implementation, and training, so customers are dealing solely with Exact from beginning to end, providing a solution that enables them to fully integrate with their global operations,” Badwan concluded.
Global customers of Exact Software solutions include Siemens, L’Oreal, Eli Lilly, DAF Trucks and Caterpillar. A number of Middle East companies with offices around the world have recently signed with Exact, including EDUTECH and Streetscape.
