Company to market FOTON brand of LCVs, HCVs and mini buses in the UAE
Dubai, March 26th, 2006 - Western Auto, the automotive retail arm of the ETA ASCON Group, announced its tie-up with KAM LUNG Motors of Hong Kong to sell their Foton brand of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs), Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs) and mini buses in the UAE. Mr. Syed M.Salahuddin, Managing Director - ETA ASCON and Mr. H. T. Mak, Director, Kamlung Motors - officially inaugurated the FOTON show room in Dubai.
To mark the opening of this new venture, Mr. Syed M Salahuddin said, "In keeping with ETA's philosophy to bring latest technological advancement and economical effectiveness to the region, we have tied up to bring this new line of vehicles for the mid-income segment in the region. We are pleased with this new relationship with Kamlung Motors and I am glad that Mr. Mak could join us today on our special day."
Western Auto is fast growing into the ranks of the leading automobile trading companies in the UAE.
