Dubai Air Show 17-21 November 2013: Pavilion P4

17 November 2013 (Dubai, United Arab Emirates): Empire Aviation Group, the Dubai and India-based one stop shop for private aviation with the largest managed fleet of business jets in the Middle East, has extended its aircraft management services into Africa with the addition of two aircraft to its growing fleet. The two Dassault Falcon 900DX business jets - one of which was acquired by Empire Aviation Group on behalf of the owner - are both based in Nigeria and fully managed by EAG. The company now has around 23 business jets under management in the Middle East, Africa and India.

The EAG team recently acquired a pre-owned Dassault Falcon 900DX EASy business jet on behalf of an owner based in Nigeria and also took under management a second pre-owned 900DX EASy aircraft. Both aircraft are based in Nigeria and fully managed and operated by EAG. Falcons are popular aircraft and, today, there are more than 1,900 Falcons in operation around the world.

Commenting on the new managed aircraft, Paras Dhamecha, Executive Director of Empire Aviation Group, said: "These two Falcon 900s are a great addition to our managed fleet and extend our aircraft management services into Africa; we now have aircraft under management in the GCC (UAE and Oman), Africa (Nigeria); and India, where we recently launched our new operations. We were especially pleased to have sourced and acquired one of the Falcons for the owner, demonstrating our full range of aircraft sales and management services, and flight operations capabilities. The aircraft asset management model that we developed in the Middle East is proving itself to be both scalable and flexible to meet the demands of aircraft owners in other regions."

The trijet Dassault Falcon 900 series helped pioneer intercontinental business jet travel and was the first large-cabin Falcon and the first to be equipped with Dassault's EASy cockpit, an intuitive man-machine interface with large format flat screens and simplified commands that improve safety by placing greater emphasis on human factors. The DX's travel range is 4,000 nautical miles and its flight ceiling is a substantial 51,000 feet. It has one of the largest cabins in its class and features a range of key executive-travel amenities including phones, fax, SATCOM, data link, video screens, television and conference tables. Typically, the cabin is divided into three separate sections to maximize space and comfort and has plenty of natural light from its panoramic windows; a full-service galley allows hot-meal preparations.

2013 was another strong year for Empire Aviation Group during which the company has added three new aircraft to its existing managed fleet; acquired its first managed aircraft in India; sold three business jets to owners; and grown the team to 120 staff.
