Abu Dhabi, UAE, December 26, 2010 - EMKE Group has enhanced its point-of-sale (POS) systems and applications with a solution from Fujitsu. The Group which operates the popular Lulu chain of Hypermarkets, supermarkets and department stores has revamped its POS systems to provide employees with enhanced efficiency and security.
EMKE group have selected the Fujitsu TeamPoS 3000 Series to run its POS systems across 86 stores in the Middle East. The applications driving the Fujitsu POS are installed using OPOS drivers that are centrally connected through SAP applications.

The TeamPoS 3000 XL2 is based on dual-core Intel® Core™2 Duo processor technology meaning that it runs faster and is cooler and quieter than comparable desktop dual-core versions. The powerful system has processing speeds up to 300 percent faster than previous technology and is 40 percent more energy efficient than desktop architecture.
