Date: Dubai, UAE, 5th June 2012: Emirates Driving Institute (EDI), the UAE's longest-established and largest driving school today launched an all new web portal - www.edi-uae.com. This web portal has a wealth of new features and has been developed to strike a balance between information and ease of use.
A highlight of the new portal, and unique to any driving institute in the region, will be the introduction of the 'online registration' platform. With a highly interactive and user-friendly interface, new students will be able to complete their registration online, upload all relevant documents and finally, make the necessary payments - all from the convenience of their homes or offices. In addition, there will be an option of having the documents collected by EDI from your work or residence. The new website also features online competitions, Online Theory Test practice module, Interactive Forum, Opinion Polls, Direction Finder and Kids Corner etc.

The portal will be in a 'testing' phase initially to gauge customer response and incorporate critical feedback towards better functionality of the portal. The recently launched new brand image of EDI and the unique 'solo driver training' facility along with this new web portal form an exciting customer proposition and are a part of an overall brand repositioning exercise. All these elements fully endorse the company's continuing robust growth path in this ever evolving and dynamic environment.
