Certification from the US-based National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers

Brings international best practices in community management

Highlights company's commitment to the Dubai Strata Law

Dubai, UAE; March 8, 2008: Emaar Properties has become the first regional property developer to have their community managers achieve the Certified Manager of Community Association (CMCA) certification, highlighting the company's adherence to international best practices in community management and commitment to the Dubai Strata Law.

Mr Jeevan J. D'Mello, Director; and Mr Sameer Kulkarni, Manager, Community Management, Emaar Properties, have been certified by the US-based National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM), making them the first CMCA property development professionals from the region.

Mr Richard Rodriguez, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Dubai, said: "The CMCA accreditation for Emaar's senior managers underscores our commitment to undertaking proactive community management practices that enhance the lifestyle experience of residents in our communities. Emaar's Community Management Department liaises with community members, and the new certification will enable us to further raise the professional status of our community association management in line with the Dubai Strata Law."

Emaar's Community Management Department is actively involved in undertaking community-focused initiatives such as Home Improvement workshops and seminars, and community fairs.
