Dubai, UAE: Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company’s (EITC) announced that its legal team is amongst the world’s first and only cohort of certified in-house counsel having completed the Association of Corporate Counsel (AAC) Credentialing Institute’s inaugural In-House Counsel Certification Program held in Dubai recently.  Farah Haider, Senior Director Legal Counsel; Mia Buckthought, Director Legal Counsel; Michael Ogden, Senior Director Legal Counsel; and Sharoon Ali, Senior Director Legal Counsel from EITC are among 40 delegates who are now entitled to use the certification ‘ICC’. The certification program is a result of the collaboration between the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department (LAD) and the ACC.

As a member of the international ACC Education Advisory Council, I was involved in the initial collaboration and development of the programme curriculum. As we celebrate the world’s first cohort of certified in-house legal counsel, we have set a global standard for the legal profession, and continue to elevate UAE business practices on an international scale,” said Anneliese Reinhold, General Counsel and Senior Vice President Legal, EITC.
