Dubai, UAE: In line with its objective to pioneer the digital transformation in the UAE and across the region, du from Emirates Integrated Telecommunication Company (EITC) is participating as Smart ICT Partner at Gartner Symposium 2018, the most influential gathering of CIOs and senior IT executives in the GCC region. Gartner Symposium brings together top executives, analysts, and experts in the IT space to explore new ways to approach critical challenges, make decisions with confidence, and achieve greater impact as a leader in the face of the global digital revolution.
“Gartner Symposium presents an immensely valuable opportunity for IT players in the region to converge under one roof and engage with one another around the most pressing and intriguing topics circulating in our industry today. We believe the Symposium is an incubator for innovation in the region, and we take pride in our role as Smart ICT Solutions at such an influential event,” said Farid Faraidooni, Deputy CEO, ICT Solutions, EITC.
At the expo, du’s booth houses exhibitions for its Dubai Pulse, Smart Concierge, and Hassantuk solutions. Dubai Pulse is a central operating system for the city’s Smart services and technologies; Smart identity helps businesses streamline and solve visitor management problems through Blockchain technology; and Hassantuk is a state-of-the-art integrated Smart monitoring platform for which du serves as the technology partner.
“This year at Gartner Symposium, we are delighted to share the strides we have made towards positioning the UAE as a technology leader and connectivity hub in the region,” added Faraidooni. “Our Smart City initiatives in particular are designed to propel the digital transformation forward in the UAE by creating new solutions and opportunities for government, enterprise, and individuals across the nation. At du, we believe telcos play a vital role in bringing the Smart City vision to fruition, and through events like this, we are helping bring this vision even closer to a reality throughout the GCC.”
The agenda for Gartner Symposium 2018 revolves around three focus areas, including Technology and Information, Leadership, and Business Strategy within the IT space in the GCC region. With more than 600 attendees, including over 200 IT CIOs, the expo serves as the ideal platform for sharing best practices, embracing new perspectives, and expanding personal networks between key industry players in the GCC.
