Professional racing coaching for the UAE's growing motor sport community

Dubai, UAE - Dragon Racing, the Dubai-based international racing team, has launched a dedicated professional racing school, the Emirates Motor Racing Academy (EMRA), for speed aficionados of all levels to enjoy.

A welcome addition to the region’s motor sporting industry, thrill seekers can choose to have their lessons at one of the UAE’s world-class race circuits - Yas Marina Abu Dhabi, or the Dubai Autodrome where the Dragon Racing team has recently opened its new state-of-the-art headquarters.

Fully certified by the Automobile and Touring Car Club of United Arab Emirates (ATCUAE), the sole Touring and Sporting representative of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) in the country, the coaching sessions take place within the safe environment of Dragon Racing’s adrenaline fuelled track days.

EMRA has introduced different levels of accessible, introductory training sessions depending on the driver’s capabilities. Headed by pro racing driver Rob Barff and his multilingual team of international motor racing coaches, students will not only receive first-class specialised coaching but also obtain an ATCUAE Race Licence enabling them to compete in racing events.

Once training is complete and students are ready to sit the Race Licence test, they will join a half day course consisting of a detailed technical lecture; followed by a practical assessment and a multiple choice written examination.
