More than sixty million Qatari Riyals Investments
Doha: H.E. Dr. Mohammad Saleh Al Sada , Minister of State for Industry and Energy Affairs, inaugurates today Building Integration Systems "BSI Steel" factory in the industrial area.
The Launching Ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Al Sadah accompanied by some of the cadres of the Ministry of Energy and Industry in addition to a group of Qatari businessmen.
Building Integration Systems Factory ( BSI-Steel) is first of its kind in Qatar for the design, manufacture and supply of steel buildings up to four floors, and is a different product from the traditional method of ready clips, where high voltage iron sheets are manufactured to bridges and columns to form the required iron building occupying more space than the traditional method with less cost.
The factory setup also comes in response to the needs of the Qatari market, estimated at 5000 tons, with an expected total investment of more than sixty million Qatari Riyals.
On this occasion, Mr. Saad Aateek Muftah, the chairman of BSI- Steel Said: "We are very proud of the opening of the plant, which falls within the framework of efforts exerted by the Ministry of Energy and Industry in order to diversify the productive base of the Qatari economy and in line with the vision of H.H. Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, for the year 2030."
For his part, Mr. Kazem Al Rubayai, CEO of the BSI-Steel comended on the great support given to the project by the Ministry of Energy and Industry, saying: "Our presence today is the result of the allocation of the land and services offered by the Ministry of Energy and Industry under its management/small and medium industrial areas, where our factory is built."
Mr.Al Rubayai also pointed that the factory is built on an area of 11 thousands square meters, divided into two main sections:
Mezzanine lounge, including the reception and offices: Administration, Engineering, IT, personnel, accounting, mosque, customer service, conference room, offices of the factory: the plant manager, monitors, quality control, shipping department, restaurant, medical clinic and maintenance.
Manufacturing Division: divided into four sections in sequence with the nature, quality of work and the product.
-Section for the manufacture of ceiling panels, walls and partitions
-Two Sections for cutting, processing and manufacturing iron.
-Section to clean the manufactured iron and carry out the dye.
In addition to the space besides the building, which is used to arrange and organize manufactured iron and preparing for shipping it to customers.
The CEO of the company assumed that selecting Qatar for establishing the factory was based on the study and several considerations, notably the lack of an instance in Qatar, saying: "The needs of the State of Qatar are provided from neighboring Gulf states, so the best solution we have chosen is the presence on the spot to keep up with the boom witnessed by the country and contribute to the process development and manufacturing in the State of Qatar."
In the same context, Al Rubayai focused on the importance of communicating directly with the consulting offices and customers to find immediate solutions to the requirements without having to wait for the current practice as provided by suppliers from abroad.
Al Rubayai praised of the financial support that the project got by the State, considering it one of the encouraging factors for being present in Qatar, saying: "The facilities provided by Qatar Development Bank have had a significant impact on the completion of this project .. And the bank is still in contact with us to complete the future needs ".

Building Integration Systems "BSI - Steel" was founded in 2006, its executive management and its technical system has a long experience of not less than twenty years and more than thirty five years for some people, where the team with his long and accumulated experience in this field participated in establishing several factories in the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam to end up teaming together from several countries to establish the PEB factory in the State of Qatar. The team consists of executive management, engineering management (about 50 engineers), and management of production, management of quality control, quality management, and finally maintenance and upgrading of equipment.
