Dubai: 17 May, 2010 - Doka Gulf, a leading supplier of innovative formwork systems and services in the UAE, today announced it will showcase its multiple product range at the Arabian Construction Week 2010, in Abu Dhabi.

Scheduled to be held from 24-26 May, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Arabian Construction Week aims to serve as a perfect platform for companies to display a full range of green building, innovative building and engineering products and services to buyers from across the Middle East and neighbouring regions.

Peter Vogel, Doka Gulf,  said: "Arabian Construction Week will offer a great opportunity for innovative companies, such as Doka, to connect with industry leaders and showcase their products, services and solutions. At the event, Doka will present its new, cost effective formwork solutions, while presenting advantages of the products in terms of cycle-time, lifespan, durability and safety."

The Arabian Construction Week will incorporate four dedicated vertical trade exhibitions, including Future Build, Civil Engineering, Building Machinery, and the Green Building Expos, and gather a wide spectrum of companies, trade visitors and senior industry leaders.

Vogel added: "Proximity to our customers remains an important success factor for us and we have fully operational branch offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. These branches appropriately coordinate with each other to keep the work sites quickly and amply supplied with engineering capability, project expertise and formwork equipment."

The branch managers of Doka Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah represented by Obaida El Rayes, Michael Arnold and Adnan Amari respectively, firmly acknowledge that this exhibition is an ideal opportunity and imperative tool in showcasing Doka's innovative and quality assured products, latest formwork technology and service offerings.

Doka will specifically display its latest formwork solutions including the newly developed Doka Staxo 40 - the latest generation of load-bearing towers and the lightweight framed formwork Frami Xlife that is ideal for fast and cost-efficient forming both with and without a crane.

The Doka Staxo 40 load-bearing system, offered in three frame heights (0.90 metres, 1.20 metres, 1.80 metres), is capable of dealing with all the mainstream propping jobs in structural engineering, while ensuring maximum cost efficiency. Combined with the ergonomic frame geometry, the lightweight Staxo 40 towers are quick and easy to erect and dismantle and come in three different configurations - single load-bearing towers, grouped assemblies or extended propping structures.

Equipped with Xlife sheet that is much quicker and easier to clean and recondition, Doka's lightweight framed formwork Frami, with its 15cm grid, simplifies planning and maximises utilisation of equipment. The system minimises any filler zones making up for much shorter forming times and is offered in panel heights from 1.20 metres to 3.00 metres.

Doka customers profit from high quality, ease of use, time-saving and workplace safety. At the Arabian Construction Week exhibition, the company will demonstrate to visitors how easily, quickly and safely the Doka systems can accomplish any formwork task.

The Arabian Construction Week will host two regional summits - the Arabian World Construction Summit (AWCS) and the Green Building Middle East Summit and Expo - that will witness international spokespersons analysing integral issues currently facing the region's construction industry.

Organised by MECOM Forums/Clarion Events, in partnership with MEED, Arabian Construction Week will also host a special 'Focus Day' by the Emirates Green Building Council to offer 'up to the minute' information on the regulation as well as the latest pilot and specific development studies in the UAE.
