Over 50 major eServices are now available online through www.dubaitrade.ae
Dubai, April 19, 2010: Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, (DMCC) today announced the launch of online electronic services (eServices) for its members on the Dubai Trade Portal (www.dubaitrade.ae). This initiative is part of DMCC's continuous efforts to improve member companies' experience and to provide members with an extensive suite of value added services.
Over 50 major eServices are now available online to DMCC members on Dubai Trade Portal, including all government services letter requests, applications for new employment visas and applications for new visit visas. DMCC members can now easily select, pay and track their service requests online from the comfort of their offices.
"The launch of DMCC's eServices on the Dubai Trade portal reflects our continual efforts to provide a supportive business environment for our members," said Ahmed bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman, DMCC. "Our drive to move more services online will be extremely beneficial for our members and we expect to make all over the counter transactions available online by end 2010. We are mindful of the growing needs and expectations from our members and we remain committed to raising the benchmark for customer service even higher in the future through such initiatives." Mr. Mahmood Al Bastaki Dubai Trade Director highlighted Dubai Trade's relentless endeavours to keep pace with technological developments in order to support DMCC in serving their customers. "We are keen to establish comprehensive customer-friendly electronic services that offer simple and easy transaction facilities.
Dubai Trade's primary aim is to ensure smooth daily operations to trade community without any time-consuming interruptions." DMCC members can avail eService facilities by registering on Dubai Trade Portal. Members can make online payment using credit cards (Visa/MasterCard) or the Direct Debit facility offered by Commercial Bank of Dubai. Dubai Trade Portal (http://www.dubaitrade.ae) is a single sign-on window to online services provided by DMCC, Dubai Customs, DP World, and Economic Zones World. The portal provides a rich pool of online services designed around customer needs and aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.
