Engineer Mohamed Abdullah Al Zaffin, Director, Information Technology Department at Dubai Municipality has stated that the civic body is  keen on strengthening  bondage  and cooperation between other government bodies by  sharing information and technical support for achieving common interests. It was stated while he was signing an MoU between DM and Awqaaf on sharing e-Tqyeem System between the two government bodies.

"To share best practices and successful experiences  between government departments in the Emirate is need of the hour. DM believes it will help achieve optimum utilization of resources in the field of corporate excellence and to harvest results  in abundance " said Eng. Zaffin further.

As per the MoU Dubai Municipality will be granting Awqaaf right to use the e-Taqyeem system.

e-Taqyeem is a system of assessment  developed by Dubai Municipality. It is considered as an ideal and effective programme to facilitate self-assessment from planning stages to implementation of the evaluation as well as the stages of development and follow up. This programme is the first of its kind in the country in the automation of self-assessment process of standards of excellence according to the RADAR method, developed by Municipality staff and registered under copyright by Ministry of Economy .The first version of e-Taqyeem was released in 2009 and  after several stages of modernization and development, its upgraded version was issued in 2011.

From Awqaaf's part, Ahmed Hamad Bushihab, Director, Corporate Support Department signed on the MoU.
