Dubai, UAE, 19 June, 2013: A delegation from Nestle Middle East today visited DEWA's Sustainable Building in Al Quoz, the largest government building in the world with a Platinum rating for green buildings from Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), for an overview of how the building works, its facilities, and the services provided to DEWA's customers.

The delegation comprised several senior staff members of Nestle ME, who visited DEWA's 14th customer service centre located in the building, which provides a variety of services. They also toured the customer call centre, the engineering and control centre, the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) centre, and the waste water recycling stations. Also part of the tour was the facilities in the building including the library, gym, and nursery.

The visit is in line with DEWA's strategy to enhance cooperation with private organisations to exchange expertise, experiences, and information about DEWA's different activities.

Nestle Middle East's delegation expressed their admiration of this sustainable feature and thanked DEWA for sharing information on sustainability initiatives.
