The International Tax Review (ITR) has awarded Deloitte’s United Arab Emirates (UAE) Tax practice with a number of accolades in their 2021 Guide to the World’s Leading Tax Advisers. One of the key accomplishments includes a tier one ranking for Tax.
‘We are pleased to receive this recognition. It is an acknowledgment that reaffirms our ability and commitment to the Middle East. Change remains the one constant in the region's tax environment, we are pleased to be able to lead through uncertainty,’ said Nauman Ahmed, Partner and Tax Leader, Deloitte Middle East.
In this year’s guide, Deloitte’s Tax and Legal practices globally received 128 tier one rankings. As a continuing validation of the quality and breadth of services, Deloitte was ranked:
- Tier one in 77 jurisdictions and tier two in 43 jurisdictions for World Tax
- Tier one in 51 jurisdictions for World Transfer Pricing
These rankings demonstrate Deloitte’s focus on high-value, digitally driven, and globally integrated services that make an impact that matters. ITR’s tier rankings are based on the editorial team’s research into individual markets and client feedback. The research provides a broad picture of the market for tax advice to businesses in several jurisdictions around the world.
“We are delighted to receive the top tier rankings recognition in the 2021 World Tax and Transfer Pricing program. These rankings are based substantially on the feedback from our clients for the services we provide with vision, clarity, and confidence in the global marketplace. The tier 1 rankings also reflect the delivery of globally connected services that our highly-skilled professionals make with commercial empathy and market leading expertise to address the tax and transfer pricing challenges our clients face today’ said Lisa Stott, Deloitte Global Leader – International Tax.
