Deloitte has been named a leader in Forrester Research Inc.'s report, The Forrester Wave™: Oracle Services Providers, Q4 2009. According to the report, "Deloitte proved its strength through its application expertise, an impressive track record with clients and awards, and its continued build out of low-cost delivery resources." The report is based on a comparative evaluation of the 14 leading global Oracle services provider organizations.
"Value isn't a term used lightly at Deloitte. This desire to drive value is incorporated into the methodologies used with global Oracle clients," said Hassib Jaber, consulting leader for Technology Integration and Enterprise Applications at Deloitte in the Middle East. "Deloitte's Enterprise Value Maps take industry and sector-specific benchmarks and map them to the Oracle product line - including Oracle Middleware, which helps practitioners target the right investments for their clients, puts the emphasis on business case benefits, and ultimately helps drive measurable results."
According to Forrester Research Inc: "Deloitte has nearly 8,000 Oracle resources worldwide with deep and broad industry expertise. The provider excels at strategy consulting and pure implementation work but is increasingly moving into support and maintenance deals as well. Deloitte differentiates through its integrated tax and audit consulting services. Deloitte boasts numerous Titan awards as evidence of its leadership in the market."
Highlights of the report include the findings that Deloitte:
- is one of the largest Oracle services providers worldwide and a global leader in the Oracle services space with a heavy focus on implementation services (versus support).
- is a particularly strong choice for higher-value engagements, implementations that require process consulting, and transformational engagements.
- received very strong marks from client references on post-implementation capabilities, including training, change management, and skills transfer.
- has a substantial Oracle practice across the "Core Four" Oracle applications -- E-Business Suite, Siebel, JD Edwards, and PeopleSoft -- as well as the suite of specialty/acquisition products.
