The first centre in the Middle East from Norway's finest childcare and education brand celebrates launch at grand opening fun day

10th January (Dubai, UAE)

Norway's international childcare and education brand, CreaKids, launched its first early learning centre in the Middle East at a grand opening day at the centre in Ibn Battuta Mall yesterday.

In recognition of the brand's value on holistic child enrichment, the day provided a lot more for parents and children than simply fun games and activities. Expert workshops were delivered to parents keen to hear more about cyber-safety for their children, first aid, brain training and child & family psychology, while children indulged in not only face painting, messy play, arts and crafts, but also toddler language learning and music and movement sessions, and made the most of their free trial of the newly renovated play zone.

Norwegian founders, Hans Jacob and Randi Sundby, were in attendance along with representatives from the Norwegian Embassy in the UAE and a number of known bloggers, media and influencers.

The early learning centre has been operating as a child enrichment centre in Ibn Battuta Mall since 2011, though previously as Kidz Venture. The ELC's reputation caught international attention however, and as a result, has been adopted by CreaKids to join their growing international portfolio of centres in countries as far afield as China.

The centre operates on a three-term structure, as well as support during public holidays. As the team strongly believes in making child enrichment possible for every child, the centre is open to all children from one to six years old. In addition, the Heart Program is CreaKids' symbol for subject areas relating to ethics, philosophy, philanthropy and humanitarianism. The team is committed to mentoring children to have an open heart, understanding for others, tolerance and empathy, while at the same time, increasing their own self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-mastery. It aims to nurture children as strong individuals and as part of an action-oriented community, familiar with their local environment and society, as well as the concept of international solidarity. Through various responsive projects, children focus on different cultures and traditions, and are introduced to charitable and neighborly concepts and values.
