Kuwait City: Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers, enabling the digital transformation in Kuwait, announced its sponsorship of “The Power of the Youth 2023” forum organized by Emtidad, as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) ‘Weyak’ initiative in its second season. The forum was held under the patronage of H.E. Abdulrahman Badah Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs and in partnership with the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Kuwait.

Held from March 7th till March 8th, the forum aimed to showcase the achievements and potentials of Kuwaiti youth in various fields such as medicine, science, engineering, space, technology, sports, and art. The event included an exhibition, activities, and discussion panels that focus on the contributions and accomplishments of young Kuwaitis. Engineer Fahad Al Ali, Chief Technology Officer of stc, delivered a motivational speech to the attendees during the forum, highlighting the importance of the SME sector in Kuwait’s evolving economy. 

In line with its ongoing commitment to support and empower the youth, stc organized a discussion during the forum that was led by Ahmad Al Nowaibet, PR and Social Media Manager at stc. The discussion shed light on some of the accomplishments young people in Kuwait have achieved within sports and arts. stc has participated in numerous events where the Company collaborated with SMEs to create a positive impact for the community. Aside from the topics covered by Al Nowaibet, the discussion ultimately reflected the long-standing commitment stc upholds to providing the youth with opportunities to develop their skills and contribute to their communities.
