HYDRO PHYSIO – a leading manufacturer of aquatic therapy treadmills based in the UK – will be joining the ABHI UK Pavilion at Arab Health 2023 to launch their revolutionary new hydrotherapy system to the Middle East market.
Research shows that exercising in water is beneficial for treating joint pain and easing muscle stress. Hydrotherapy provides a useful tool for improving general fitness and rehabilitation following injury or surgery, providing all the benefits of exercise without putting stress on the joints.
The new ACTIVE Hydrotherapy Trainer from HYDRO PHYSIO is designed to revolutionise rehabilitation for patients who are recovering from an injury or operation. The system provides an ideal solution for individual hygienic aquatic therapy space. It includes a treadmill chamber, entrance foyer and integrated water management equipment.
HYDRO PHYSIO’S ground-breaking system is designed to assist in osteoarthritis, post-surgery recovery, weight loss, pain and stress relief, as well as to improve general wellbeing and reduce load bearing on painful joints. The self-contained treadmill is designed to occupy less overall space than other systems. It is easy to use and easily accessible for those with limited mobility. Combining adjustable water depth and temperature with a treadmill capable of operating at very slow speeds, creates a personalised environment for achieving the client’s full potential.
HYDRO PHYSIO have supplied over 1,000 HYDRO PHYSIO systems worldwide, improving the health and wellbeing for animals and humans.
Leah Winter and Jen Mainwaring, from the HYDRO PHYSIO Sales team commented: “After two years, we are looking forward to being back at Arab Health, in-person. Whilst the excellent advancements in digital technology have allowed us to keep in contact over the pandemic, face-to-face meetings are invaluable in building new relationships and maintaining existing ones. It is also an ideal opportunity for us to review new hydrotherapy products on the market. We are proud to present our unique innovations and the benefits they provide to professional rehabilitation specialists and sports therapists.”
The benefits of a hydrotherapy treadmills have been shown to far outweigh the use of a normal treadmill, resulting in less risk of injury and providing a speedier intervention to help with decreasing recovery time, resulting in less time sat on the sideline.
Land based exercise can also be challenging if a person has a pre-existing condition such as arthritis. Hydrotherapy in temperature-controlled water provides a valuable way to cushion joints, making exercising more comfortable.
By combining hands-on pool-based physiotherapy techniques and special exercises supervised by physiotherapists, hydrotherapy helps patients to regain or enhance physical wellbeing in a warm relaxing environment.
The aquatic therapy treadmill from HYDRO PHYSIO is designed to greatly enhance strengthening and conditioning of the body for overall performance, providing both low impacting and challenging workout.
Based in Shropshire, England, HYDRO PHYSIO is a division of SYSPAL Ltd. Working from a 11,500 m2 purpose-built manufacturing facility – one of the most technically advanced in Europe – all products are precisely manufactured to exacting standards.
The Arab Health Exhibition & Congress is taking place from 30 January – 2 February 2023 at the Dubai Convention and Exhibition Centre. Throughout the exhibition,
HYDRO PHYSIO will be located on the ABHI UK Pavilion – Hall 2 Stand D70
