Dubai-UAE: 04 May, 2011 -Citymax Hotel, the hospitality arm of the Landmark Group, today announced the launch of its latest propertyin Sharjah, validating the chain's rapidly growing footprint in the UAE.

The official opening of the 230-room hotel will be held on 8 May and comes within a year of the launch of Citymax Al Barsha and Citymax Bur Dubai.

The announcements were made on the sidelines of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2011 that opened on 2 May and will run until 5 May at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.  

Since the opening of its two properties, Citymax Hotels have enjoyed rapidly increasing occupancy levels with seasonal highs touching close to 90 per cent.

Citymax Hotel Sharjah is conveniently located on Al Wahda Street, just six kilometres away from the Sharjah International Airport and 30 minutes from the Dubai International Airport. The property offers twin and double rooms.  Each room is cushioned in comfort with a 10" mattress, equipped with high speed internet connection, 32" TV, and laptop sized digital safe. The hotel has a 24-hour coffee shop and buffet restaurant as well as five multi-functional meeting rooms.

Located in the Abu Shagara District, Sharjah, the property is well-connected to the industrial, shopping and heritage areas such as the Sharjah Gold Centre and traditional souks.
