The new product release extends market-leading enterprise fax and e-document delivery capabilities with support for IBM Lotus Notes 6.0 and 6.5, Microsoft Windows 2003 certifications and enhanced features to enable more simplified, streamlined administration, monitoring and secure document delivery for enterprise-wide applications.
RightFax 8.7 also broadens functionality with integrations to leading applications, messaging, workflow and multifunction devices. RightFax 8.7 Key Features and Benefits
▪ Anti-Spam – New “Do not dial” capabilities enable administrators to verify and control outgoing fax calls being dialed to assist with fax Spam blocking and provide better fax security.
▪ Encrypted Certified and Secure Delivery – The enhanced RightFax 8.7 SecureDocs module enables users to view and send any document as a secure and encrypted file directly from their familiar Microsoft Outlook interface and/or Xerox drive.
▪ Expanded E-document Delivery – Enables expanded automation of document delivery capabilities and notifications from ERP, host and legacy systems.
▪ Support for IBM Lotus Notes/Domino version 6.0 and 6.5 – The updated RightFax 8.7 Gateway for IBM Lotus Notes now supports IBM Lotus Notes/Domino version 6.0 and 6.5. Enhanced features make it easier to deploy, support and maintain, bring better integration with the Lotus Notes address book, include support for fax viewing from iNotes. It has also been localized to support six new languages.
▪ Certification with Microsoft Windows 2003 Standard and Enterprise Servers – RightFax 8.7 is certified on Windows Standard and Enterprise Server, offering a proven and reliable e-document delivery solution.
▪ Enhanced Xerox Integration – Provides users the ability to send PDF, JPG, color and gray-scale TIF files or files as certified and encrypted documents, directly from Xerox Document Centre and WorkCentre Pro devices. In addition, it provides real-time access to the status of fax delivery from the devices and integration with SecureDocs.
▪ True SMS Support – Expands flexible, notification options by delivering an alert straight to a cell phone or PDA for real-time notification and expanded message tracking, notification and delivery status.
▪ Enterprise-Grade Alerting and Monitoring Capabilities – New alerting and monitoring capabilities allow companies to create and monitor over 100 status alerts on servers, databases and gateways simultaneously for greater reliability, faster response times and shorter downtimes for their mission-critical document traffic.
Other features soon to be announced for RightFax 8.7 include dynamic workflow capabilities, providing RightFax users with the ability to build and deploy approval and routing workflows with RightFax.
