BurJuman, the region's premier shopping destination, will capture the spirit of the Dubai World Cup in the mall through a unique 11-day event featuring exhibitions on hats, art and photography from March 19 to March 29.
BurJuman will also make its presence felt on Race Day by setting up a special booth at the International Village at the race venue at Nad Al Sheba. Visitors to the booth can enter raffle draws offering gift vouchers as prizes, and also receive a complimentary cup of the finest coffee from Dome, which runs a popular chain of lifestyle cafes in Dubai including one at BurJuman.
Visitors to the booth will also have the opportunity to see a model of the Dhs.1.5 billion BurJuman expansion project and artist impressions of the interior.
Sabina Khandwani, Head of Research and Marketing at BurJuman, said: "BurJuman is proud to continue its association with this most spectacular and eagerly awaited international sporting event in Dubai. The various exhibitions have been a regular feature at BurJuman during the World Cup season. With the racing fever rising in Dubai, we want to again give our shoppers the opportunity to share the excitement by hosting these unique equestrian-related events".
Fashion conscious ladies seeking glamorous headgear for the year's most prestigious sporting event need look no further than BurJuman. On display and sale at the mall will be a wide array of elegant hats specially designed by leading Dubai-based milliner Lynn Holyoak of Hattitude for Race Day on March 29. For the first time a line of high quality handbags to match the headgear will be available at the exhibition.
