Delivery also marks 45-year partnership with airline
Dubai, June 18, 2011 - Boeing [NYSE: BA] reached a major milestone with EGYPTAIR this week when it delivered the airline's 50th airplane - a Next-Generation 737-800. The 737 is the 17th of 20 ordered by EGYPTAIR between 2005 and 2009. This delivery also marked the 45-year partnership between Boeing and EGYPTAIR.
Since receiving its first Boeing airplane - a 707 - in 1968, EGYTPAIR's fleet has expanded to include 17 737s and 11 777s.
