Dubai (United Arab Emirates) - Germany's largest footwear manufacturer BIRKENSTOCK and local partner Apparel Group re- open doors at Dubai Mall on January 23rd 2020. The new location of the store is on the ground floor in the aquarium aisle, with a totally updated look and feel.
This store will be the first in the region to feature BIRKENSTOCK’s new retail concept, which reflects the brand’s traditionally close relationship with nature and its commitment to sustainability, with its main materials being cork, leather, and felt, and gives the high-quality lifestyle label the premium look. Dubai Mall has been a shopping hot spot for many years with the local population combined with tourism bringing more than 80 million visitors annually, and the new store in this prime location means BIRKENSTOCK benefits from being at the heart of one of the world’s largest malls.
In addition to long-standing classics like the Arizona, Madrid and Gizeh, the SS20 collection brings the Kyoto - the new style on the block which is a modernized sandal with a hook-and-loop fastening closure. The Kyoto is a bold summer sandal that is guaranteed to be a hit among urbanites,
The store will also feature their highly anticipated collaborations with niche and street style focused brands such as Rick Owens and Random Identities who have crafted exclusive and unique styles, through the fusion of designer led textures and finishes combined with the iconic sandal foot bed.
