Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) has won the Best Bank Award in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in Straight Through Processing (STP) in recognition of its excellence and high efficiency, with a 94.20% satisfaction, on nomination by Standard Chartered Bank.
On this occasion, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Janahi, BisB Acting Chief Executive, received Mr. Hassan Qambar, Manager, Banking Institutions of Banking Services at Chartered Bank, who presented him with the Bank's trophy and award letter.
Mohammed Ahmed Janahi expressed happiness over the Bank's winning of the award, which will undoubtedly add to the Bank's record of achievements made recently. He praised the efforts made by the Bank's employees, particularly in Central Operations, in making this achievement, and emphasized that all the Bank's department will continue their endeavours to excel in their work towards improving the services provided to the Bank's customers.
On his part, Mr. Hassan Qambar, Manager of Financial Institutions of Islamic Services at Chartered Bank, congratulated BisB for this award, which the Bank won in recognition of its excellence through the performance by the Central Operations Department, welcoming all aspects of co-operation between BisB and Standard Chartered Bank and lauding the successful strategic partnership between the two parties in this respect.
