Riyadh - General Automotive Company (Autostar), dealer of AC Delco batteries and other brands of spare parts in Saudi Arabia, recently honored its top distributors across the Kingdom for contributing to its sales success.
Autostar speakers at the 8th annual ceremonies held in the Central, Eastern and Western provinces described the distributors as "success partners" of the company since its inception and noted in particular the remarkable sales growth achieved in Saudi Arabia during the past year.
In Al-Khobar, at a ceremony held at the Holiday Inn for Eastern Province distributors, Najeeb Alissa, Chairman of the Automotive Sector of Abdullatif Alissa Group, awarded the First Highest GM Sales Award and a Chevrolet Cruze 2011 model car to Al-Jubail Motors Company.
Also honored were Al Maghlooth Establishment, which won the Second Highest GM Sales Growth Award and a Hyundai Accent 2011 car, and Jamal Mohammed AlMadani Establishment, which won the Highest Isuzu Cars Sales Award and received a Hyundai Accent 2011 car.
Talal AlZamil, General Manager of Middle East Batteries Factory; and Mohammed AlFayadh, Sales and Marketing Manager of the factory; were among the attendees.
The Central Region distributors were felicitated at a function held in Marriott Hotel. Rashid Mohammed AlHamad Establishment won the First Highest GM Sales Award and a Chevrolet Cruze 2001 car, AlTaqwa Company received the Second Highest GM Sales Growth Award and a Hyundai Accent 2011 car, and Saeed Ayedh AlQahtani took the Highest Isuzu Cars Sales Award and a Hyundai Accent 2011 car.
Ziad Alissa, Engineer Essam Mojalid, CEO of NAT, and Engineer Abdulrahman Eid, Spare Parts Operation Manager, presented the awards during the ceremony attended also by Albert Khreish, Area Sales Manager of General Motors Overseas Distribution.
The Western Region honors ceremony held at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Jeddah saw Sadiq Mohammed Hamzah Khalifa Company winning the First Highest GM Sales Award and a Chevrolet Cruze 2011 car, and Althonayan Trading Establishment for the Second Highest GM Sales Growth Award and a Hyundai Accent 2011 car.
Najib Alissa and Engineer Abdurrahman Eid presented the awards in the presence of Mohammed Fayad, Sales and Marketing Manager of AC Delco Batteries Factory.
Autostar in addition to its authorized distributor's has nationwide 33 branches for spare parts distribution, 12 each in the Eastern and Central regions and 9 in the Western Region.
