Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - Atkins inaugurated its new office in Riyadh to drive its expansion in Saudi Arabia, by increasing resources for existing clients and developing new opportunities for growth. Atkins is one of the world’s most respected design, engineering and project management consultancies.

The inauguration was well attended by Steve Graham, Head of Department of International Trade at the British Embassy in Saudi Arabia, Hashim Alawadi, Deputy Co-Chair of the Saudi British Joint Business Council and CEO of Tech Invest Com, key clients, in addition to Atkins’ regional leadership – Grant Porter, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Atkins in the Middle East and Africa; Adrian Lindon, Atkins Managing Director of Design & Engineering; Campbell Gray, Faithful+Gould Managing Director, Middle East, Johan Hesselsøe, Atkins Acuity Managing Director, Middle East, Spencer Wylie, Faithful+Gould Country Director, KSA, and Nassib Al-Sibassi, Director, Atkins Acuity.

Saudi nationals have also contributed to different key projects across the company’s offices in the Middle East and United Kingdom, including over 100 Saudi nationals working on major projects for the Saudi Arabian National Guard over a two-year period.

Located in Hamad Tower, King Fahd Road, Atkins’ new office in Riyadh will provide clients with design, engineering and projects management services for projects across the property, infrastructure, transportation, water and defence markets. The Atkins business also includes the Faithful+Gould and Atkins Acuity capabilities and service offerings. Faithful+Gould provides integrated project and programme management consultancy, independently or alongside Atkins. Acuity is the end-to-end advisory business from Atkins which combines management consulting, financing and technical capabilities to help clients solve complex front-end problems in the built environment.
