Abu Dhabi – Arnab Mobility, the UAE’s first home-grown micro-mobility service provider, has entered into an exclusive partnership with Anantara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel. The new deal is set to provide on-demand e-scooter services to guests and residents from February 2020.
Arnab Mobility is the first micro-mobility service provider in the region to deploy dedicated e-scooters to a hotel. The special partnership with Anantara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel will provide electric scooters for use within designated areas of the property, allowing visitors, residents and staff to enjoy easy, efficient and safe modes of transport to use when commuting for leisure or work.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Hamad Al Shamsi, Founding Member of Arnab Mobility says: “We are proud to announce our partnership with Anantara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel, which is one of the largest luxury resort chains in the UAE. This collaboration illustrates that micro-mobility is not only a solution for communities and public roads, but also for hotels, universities and even major events that are earmarked in the future for the UAE.”
General Manager of Anantara Eastern Mangroves Hotel, Mr. Khaled Sharabassy says, “As we continue our journey in becoming a leading luxury sustainable tourism brand, we are delighted to be the first hotel in Abu Dhabi to have an exclusive partnership with the first home-grown micro-mobility service provider here in UAE. This partnership is aligned with our advocacy for sustainability and our aim in providing our guests with unrivalled activities and experiences while they are in our hotel.”
Arnab Mobility e-scooters cost AED 0.6 per minute to ride, with a one-off AED 3 unlocking fee. Visitors to the property can download the Arnab Mobility mobile application from iOS and Google Play Store and make use of the vehicles 24 hours a day throughout their stay.
Since its launch into the market six months ago, Arnab Mobility has grown exponentially in order to cater to ever-growing demand from customers. The innovative company is making major strides in the thriving micro-mobility sector, revolutionising the way people use and perceive transportation across the UAE.
“As a customer-focused organisation, we aim to improve urban mobility with intelligent, clean, safe, affordable and accessible solutions. Safety remains at the core of what we do, which is why we hold weekly free training and safety seminars for the public. We will ensure the same efforts are implemented at Anantara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel to ensure that all users have a safe, reliable and happy experience,” concludes Al Shamsi.
Founded in 2019 to provide a solution to first and last mile dilemmas through its range of light electric vehicles (LEVs), Arnab Mobility currently operates in eight areas across the UAE. This includes Abu Dhabi Corniche, Al Reem Island, Al Maryah Island and Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, as well as Al Qawasim Corniche and Al Mairid in Ras Al Khaimah, Marsa Ajman in Ajman, and Al Ain.
