Solution allows travel agencies to issue customized and personalized itineraries

Dubai, UAE, 5th October, 2010: Amadeus, a leading travel technology partner and transaction processor for the global travel and tourism industry, today announced the launch of Amadeus Itinerary Print (ITP) solution for travel agencies based in the Middle East and North Africa region.

The new service is designed to facilitate the production of custom designed itineraries and e-tickets that are in line with a travel agency's corporate branding and policies. Its seamless integration with Amadeus Selling Platform automates the document generation process and enables booking information including fares, service fees, conditions and surcharges to be formatted into customized and professional itineraries for the travel agent's customer.

Potential errors are minimized as the bookings are formatted into professional, standardized documents pre-defined by the travel agency. This improves efficiency, giving travel agents more time to focus on selling.

Documents created by Amadeus ITP provide travellers with an easy-to-read, detailed display of their itinerary including flight information, baggage, seat number, check-in time, stopover points, meals and also displays a five day weather forecast for the requested destination.

Commenting on the availability of the product, Antoine Medawar, Vice President, Amadeus MENA, said, "Amadeus ITP has been launched across Middle East & North Africa markets. The new service can be tailored to suit every travel agency's needs and provides added convenience to travellers. The solution offers templates that can be customized to a travel agency's requirements and creatively represent a consistent and professional image of their business."

Amadeus ITP also provides multiple formats for itinerary and e-ticket presentation in order to ensure wider options for customers. Travel agencies can also choose to have their service fees displayed on tickets to ensure a more transparent and open service to their customers.

The newly launched service ensures maximum productivity and efficiency for both the seller and buyer thus facilitating a better organized and professional transaction.
