Cairo, September 12 2007 - In an effort to cater to the needs of Egypt's expanding base of business process outsourcing, Allied Soft and Allied Information Technology Services (AITS), the first service providers in Egypt and the Middle East to offer pioneering healthcare-oriented technology services, have announced a partnership agreement with Egypt's prominent Dar Al-Fouad Hospital. Dar Al-Fouad is an affiliate of the Cleveland Clinic, one of the most prominent healthcare providing facilities in the US and is accredited by Joint Commission International.

Under the terms of this initiative, AITS will deliver state-of the-art medical transcription services, making the hospital the first to offer the cutting-edge technology in the Middle East inline with the best medical services world wide.

Officials from both sides met at Dar Al-Fouad premises on Sunday, 9 September 2007 to sign the medical transcription services contract. Signing on behalf of Dar Al-Fouad was General Manager Dr. Hisham El Kholy, on behalf of Allied Soft was Chairman Dr. Mohammed Reda, and General Manager Eng. Hussein Helmy on behalf of Allied Information Technology Services.

"As one of the country's most reputable hospitals, we're delighted to support Dar Al-Fouad Hospital by offering our superior level of healthcare processing services." said Dr. Reda. "This partnership is a landmark agreement for our company to further lead medical transcription services across Egypt and the Middle East and we're looking forward to a long and fruitful business relationship with our newest client, Dar Al-Fouad."

AITS will handle the hospital's overnight medical transcription to meet the high standards of the American Association of Medical Transcription, ensuring the hospital is equipped with advanced medical and legal transcription services. As well, Allied Soft will develop an information security system and network connectivity to secure file transfers according to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

"The business process outsourcing of medical transcription services has been growing rapidly and has great potential to further flourish," commented Dr. El Kholy. "As one of Egypt's top hospitals, we aspire to convene with worldwide developments in the medical field. Our agreement with Allied Soft and AITS is a cornerstone that will enable us to focus on offering our patients with up-to-date medical services while accurately documenting all their medical records with the highest level of security."
