All VIP car stickers with good numbers on auction were grabbed before the closing date by visitors wanting to park their cars in front of Global Village main gate
The last date for bidding for the limited edition of unique parking stickers for the VIP parking lot at the Global Village was December 10 and all good numbers put up on auction were picked up by enthusiasts before the closing date on December 10. Bidding for the unique parking stickers, which were in categories A, B, C, D, to E and numbered from 1 to 10 started at Dh500 on November 26.
Laila Al Jassim, Manager Operations for the Global Village said, "The bidding for some of the good parking sticker numbers was more than expected as all the attractive numbers were grabbed by the buyers before the close of the auction on December 10. Now what we have left with are the general VIP parking stickers which will also finish soon as the Global Village opens its gates to the visitors on Wednesday."
According to Laila the unique parking stickers offer visitors a chance to park their vehicles in the premium parking spaces in front of the Global Village main gate. Buyers will also get complimentary entry tickets to the Village with every parking sticker they buy. These passes are priced at Dh500 and come with 30 complimentary entry tickets for the buyer.
