Al Nabooda Automobiles guides automobile industry on Unified Contracts law

United Arab Emirates, Dubai, December 28^th, 2011: Al Nabooda Automobiles LLC the dealer for the Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen brands in Dubai and Northern Emirates is one of the first in the UAE automobile industry to successfully implement the procedures outlined in the Unified Contracts law.

At a conference, presided over by Dr. Hashim Al Nuaimi, Director of Consumer Protection Department, Al Nabooda Automobiles hosted representatives from other automobile dealerships to showcase the implementation of the Unified Contracts procedures.

The Unified Contracts law aims to enforce minimum standard requirements within Cars Sales, Service, and Spare Parts contracts among UAE based car dealers to ensure fair treatment for all contract parties under the umbrella of the Consumer Protection law.

Speaking about the achievement, Mr. K. Rajaram, C.E.O, Al Nabooda Automobiles, said "Unified Contracts Law ensures fair play. It brings about transparency and simplifies documentation to aid consumer understanding. Since all contractual obligations are put in black and white, there can be no ambiguity and the rights as well as responsibilities of both the customer and the retailer are made absolutely clear".

The Ministry of Commerce guidelines on Unified Contracts stipulate that customers are aware of warranty terms and all the applicable laws; Customer rights and responsibilities need to be balanced; To remove any terms and conditions not complying with the law from the invoices and Arabic enabled contracts be incorporated.
