H.H Ruler's Court choose BMW as their preferred vehicle

Dubai, UAE. AGMC, the exclusive importer for BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce for Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, has signed an agreement with Dubai Protocol and Guest-House Department of H.H. Ruler's Court and provided them with 52 BMWs for their official use.

The cars - all state-of-the-art driving machines - include thirty 740Li's, twenty 523i's and two specially modified 760Li security vehicles and were delivered at the end of this year.

"We have reached an agreement with Dubai Protocol and Guest-House Department to provide 52 BMWs for their official use, with models chosen specifically for their powerful and economical innovative features," said Stathis I Stathis, General Manager, AGMC.

"Dubai Protocol and Guest-House Department has recognised the ultimate technology of BMW meets their demanding requirements for highly efficient and durable service vehicles. We look forward to a lasting relationship with them in the future."

Dubai Protocol and Guest-House Department was formed in 1977. The functions and responsibilities of the department include creating the bounded connections with all governmental and diplomatic departments around the world; the department also facilitates all travel requirements for visiting and travelling official dignitaries, such as Heads of State and royalty.

The BMW fleet provided to Dubai Protocol and Guest-House Department by AGMC will include the 5 and 7 series models, known for their safety and durability, of which the 523i accommodates a modest but powerful 2497cc engine.

A dynamic and efficient entry into BMW's upper-class V8 segment, the 740Li leads the way in driving dynamics and comes at the top of its class with its virtually perfect balance of power and performance.

The 740Li is unparalleled in terms of both responsiveness and superior torque. This is mainly attributable to the interaction of VALVETRONIC and double-VANOS, a combination of high-tech features exclusive to BMW. Two specially modified 760Li Security Vehicles will also be supplied by AGMC.

AGMC has also shown its commitment to sustainable development and environmental issues by supplying BMWs for the VIP shuttle service during the Zayed International Prize for Environment conference, initiated by H. H. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in recognition of the achievements of the late President H. H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
