Every child is a hero in his imagination. Modhesh Fun City converts that dream into reality with the Modhesh Fun City's Spacetoon Studio.
The Spacetoon Studio, equipped with digital editing tools, karaoke room and professional studio equipment allows the child to create a memoir of his visit to the Modhesh Fun City, and capture memories of the time spent with their favorite cartoon characters.
Says Laila Al Jassim, Manager, Modhesh Fun City, "Spacetoon is one of the most popular children's channel in the region. The cartoon characters created by the channel are close to the hearts of our children as they embody Arabic culture and tradition. The Spacetoon Studio in that sense gives the children a chance to be closer to the Cartoon Characters that they so closely identify with in their day to day lives."
The crowds at the Studio are proof to the popularity of the activity.
Yahya AL Kafri, Supervisor at the Spacetoon Studio said, "Given the success of the Spacetoon activities last year, the DSS office was confident that the Studio would be a well appreciated concept, and would succeed as an idea.
"The strength of the Spacetoon Studio lies in attracting children of different age groups and different nationalities within the Arab world, due to the wide variety of events and activities on offer.
"This year, we have added several new Cartoon Characters introduced by the channel in 2004 in addition to the popular ones in the last year."
The Spacetoon Studio consists of three main events - the Card Stuido where they can meet Conan, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, the Comak Story where children can role play with their favorite Cartoon Character with a live audience, and the Karaoke Studio, where the child can enhance his singing skills while role-playing with his favorite Cartoon character on his favorite Spacetoon melody.
Moreover, his memoir for the Modhesh Fun City will include a recording of the song that he sung that the Studio.
The main objective behind setting up the Spacetoon Studio is to encourage children's stage presence and self confidence. Spacetoon also gets a chance to identify children with a natural flair for acting or singing as future stars.
At the end, kids are the heroes of the Spacetoon Studio.
