A medical team at Al Zahra Hospital in Sharjah conducted the first operation of its kind in the Northern Emirates, which is the injection of ovaries with plasma rich in platelets PRP to reactivate the ovaries and improve the chances of pregnancy, especially IVF. This process is called rejuvenation of ovary with PRP and the medical team included Dr. Mohammad Al Hassoun Obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Israa Ali, Obstetrics and Gynecology Consultant, Dr. Raed Farhat, a plastic surgery specialist, and Dr. Ayman Hassan, anesthesiologist, and Dr. Mohammad Al Hassoun explained the benefits of this process and include the revitalization of the ovaries and the formation of new eggs from the stem cells that Originally present in the ovaries, where the PRP contains growth factors and cytokines, that stimulate and differentiate stem cells towards new eggs that are capable of fertilization and  achievement pregnancy. This process can be performed for the following cases: 1- Women with premature ovarian failure in ages <40 years

2- Women peri menopause under the age of 50

3- Women with low ovarian reserve and low anti mullarian hormones in younger age

4- Infertility patients who could not conceive despite repeated treatments.
