Holiday Inn Bur Dubai-Embassy District opens following recent rebrand project

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed anagreement with Mohamed Omar Bin Haider Group (MOBH GROUP), to take over themanagement of a 210-bedroom hotel in Bur Dubai's embassy district. Formerly operatingas Excelsior Creek Hotel, guests woke up to a fresh new look and a warm HolidayInn welcome when the hotel re-branded becoming, Holiday Inn Bur Dubai-EmbassyDistrict.

With over 3,300 hotels worldwide, Holiday Inn hotels is the most widelyrecognised hotel brand in the world, and has recently undergone a $1bn globalrefresh project, the largest in the hospitality industry. The recent additionof Holiday Inn Bur Dubai-Embassy District to the portfolio carriesall the new brand hallmarks of Holiday Inn and adds to the Middle East'salready strong foothold in the mid scale market.

For MOBH Group, who already own two Holiday Inn hotelsunder IHG management in the UAE, the acquisition of a third was a naturalpartnership.  Omar Mohamed Bin Haider,Deputy Chairman of MOBH Group commented "We believe in the strength of theHoliday Inn brand so IHG was a natural choice as a management company when wemade the decision to rebrand this hotel.
