IKEA presents fresh ideas, complete solutions and year-round low prices, designed for everyone regardless of their budget

Dubai, August 28, 2007 - IKEA, the number one global household name for home furniture and furnishings solutions has today launched its 2008 catalogue by executing a mass distribution to residents across the UAE. For the third consecutive year, Blue Truck has been appointed to deliver the IKEA catalogue door-to-door with the aim of reaching 650,000 households by 15 September 2007.

The new 284-page catalogue is bursting with new ideas and products that demonstrate the width and big part of the depth of IKEA's product range. Customers can find full-range in the stores at Dubai Festival City and Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi.

Residents in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates can now plan ahead for the next year reliant on the IKEA tradition of offering affordable and well designed furniture which is great value for money.

Featuring within the new catalogue, the STOCKHOLM collection is based on the concept of offering premium quality products utilising luxury materials at extremely competitive prices. A new direction for the brand, the collection comprises of linens, velvets and mohair adorn table lamps, cushions, throws and chairs while oak veneer TV benches and lacquered glass vases add to the sense of indulgent luxury at an affordable price.

"Complete Kitchens" and "Complete Bedrooms" remain a strong business focus for 2008 with the catalogue highlighting a wide and exciting product range that can be explored further within the in-store room sets. The Dubai stores features over 50 room sets, whilst Abu Dhabi showcases more than 30 room sets where customers can find total solutions to their design needs.

The new catalogue confirms IKEA continues to be the leading one stop destination for all home furnishing and furniture inspiration offering a wide range of options at continuously low prices.

IKEA is a member of the Al-Futtaim Group and currently has two outlets in the UAE, one at the Dubai Festival City and the second at Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi. The Dubai Festival City store is open from 10am to 10pm, seven days a week. IKEA at Marina Mall is open from 10am to 10pm from Saturday to Thursday and 1pm to 10 pm on Fridays.
