KHARTOUM - Sudan plans to raise up to 3 billion Sudanese pounds ($63 million) to buy gold by selling certificates to the public starting on Monday, central bank Governor Mohamed Kheir al-Zubeir said.

Zubeir told Reuters the certificates would be sold by a company affiliated with the central bank and were expected to have an annual yield of up to 30 percent.
