Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) started Tuesday’s trading session on a negative note, dragged down by the three sectors.

By 10:00 am Qatar time, the general index declined 0.33% to 9,409.13 points, falling 30.84 points.

The bourse's turnover amounted to QAR 25.4 million after 1.5 million shares were exchanged through 331 transactions.

The real estate sector topped the QSE’s losers falling 0.71% as Ezdan Holding Group went down 0.85%.

Similarly, the banking sector levelled down 0.32% after Islamic Holding Group dropped 1.88%.

On the other hand, the transportation sector headed the bourse’s gainers adding 0.60% as Qatar Navigation and Gulf Warehousing Company grew 1.24% and 1.14%, respectively.

Vodafone Qatar’s stock, which rose 0.43%, led the market in terms of trading volume with 907,600 shares, generating QAR 5.6 million in liquidity.
