Cairo –  The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) listing committee approved the listing of the fourth issue of securitisation bonds of El Tameer Securitization Company valued at EGP 10 billion.

This is the largest securitisation bonds issued in accordance with the regulations of the listing committee, according to a statement on Thursday.

The issuance represents 31% of the total value of current bond and Sukuk issues, amounting to EGP 31.8 billion.

This brings the total number of bonds issues listed in 2020 to 11, the largest number of listed securitisation bonds and Sukuk since January 2014.

The nominal, tradable, callable, and non-convertible securitisation bonds are issued in three tranches.
