ArabFinance: Arabian Food Industries Company (Domty) (DOMT) reported a 10% Year on Year decrease in its consolidated net profit in the first nine months of 2020, according to the company’s November 11th financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

Consolidated net profit before minority interest stood at EGP 105,096,944 in the January-September period of 2020, compared to EGP 117,042,944 achieved in the prior-year period.

Standalone net profit reached EGP 94,266,622 in the January-September period of 2020, a 9% decline from EGP 103,570,581 posted in the corresponding period a year earlier.

In September, Domty signed a memorandum of understanding with the Dutch multinational dairy company FrieslandCampina to discuss mutual cooperation.

The company distributed cash dividends of EGP 0.20 per share on May 14th to the shareholders recorded on May 11th.

Domty is an Egypt-based company engaged in the production and sale of dairy products. The company’s offerings include a range of cheese products, such as Tetra Pak cheese, plastic tubes cheese, mozzarella cheese, and spread cheese, as well as milk products and juices.
